Cody Pride at the Pep Rally

On September 11, 2026 Cody High School held it's first "Pep Rally" of the school year.  This was a chance for incoming Freshman to witness what "CODY PRIDE" looks like. Students loaded the gym and were seated by their individual houses.  What is a Cody House? Well each grade is a part of it's own house.

9th Grade: House of Uplifting

10th Grade:  House of Dreamers

11th Grade:  House of Friendship

12th Grade:  House of UNITY

The Cody House System allows students to establish unity amongst their peers from the beginning in 9th Grade.  This UNITY should follow them up to the 12th Grade where they are then in the HOUSE OF UNITY and where they have been together and unified since they were 9th Graders in the HOUSE OF UPLIFTING.

At the PEP RALLY Students and staff enjoyed a COMPETITION OF HOUSE CHANTS, PROMOTIONAL BOARDS, RELAY RACES, MUSIC, CHEER TEAM PERFORMANCE and an introduction to our CODY COMETS FOOTBALL TEAM before their game that day.

The PEP RALLY itself was a competition where the LIVEST, LOUDEST and MOST ENERGETIC HOUSE showing the MOST HOUSE SPIRIT won a TACO PARTY!!

WHO WON?  Well the 9th Grade HOUSE OF UPLIFTING won a TACO PARTY and they were ecstatic about it and enjoyed every bite!

Either way, Cody High School knows how to UPLIFT, DREAM, Have FRIENDSHIPS and UNIFY! Yes we are AWESOME!

C. O. D.  C. O. D. Yyyyyyyyyyy Cody Cody Cody High!! Lets go Comets!!!
