Cody Marching Band in Atlanta

The weekend of April 24th the Cody High School Marching Band traveled to Atlanta, GA to participate in the Dolla Watson Classic Battle of the Bands - And they did not disappoint!!

Under the direction of Mr. Damien Lyles, Band Director, our students represented Cody with excellence as they gained exposure, built meaningful connections, and embraced every opportunity to learn and grow. From powerful performances to engaging with other talented musicians, this experience was bigger than just a competition - it was about development, pride and purpose.

A special highlight was connecting with KIPP High School, where our students had the chance to battle, collaborate, and network - learning from one another and building relationships that extend beyond the stage.

This trip created memories that will last a lifetime and reinforced what it means to represent Cody at the highest level.
